One of the things I liked about your combination was it didn't have the giant pan with 2 cases of oil in it, that most of them seem to have.
Is it time to step up?
I'm not sure, lol. As fast as I'm going and the sometimes high and long wheelstands, it stands to reason that a rear sump pan would be better. So far the center sump pan I've been running has not been a problem and N2Omstr (Tony) runs a center sump pan on his car...he's a good bit faster than me and has had no issues.
It's more of an insurance thing, but I don't want a huge low hanging pan on the car. It doesn't need 10+ quarts to be happy, it just needs about 7.5 or 8 quarts in the right place.
I bought the pan in the picture by the way. Eventually I plan to cut it up and shorten the sump so it doesn't decapitate fireants on the highway.
