One problem with 'made up' documentation is that it rarely gets called out when a car is for sale.

An obvious fake in this auction - https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Dodge-Challenger-RARE/124027400664?hash=item1ce09bf1d8:g:AgQAAOSwGrBeCLVt

But the seller does not mention it at all.........

As far as self proclaimed 'gurus' & 'certified' go, when they make bogus items for people as a service, they only hurt the hobby.

They hurt their own reputations as well, especially when they 'certify' cars that have bogus documentation they made up out of thin air.

Any cars history & reputation suffer when any bogus documentation item is introduced.

EDITED above to fix link.
