I’m not unhappy by any means, but I want it to run to its potential. I built it with forged pistons, and scat h-beams so that I could throw more at it when the time comes. It seems to fall off pretty fast after 5k rpm. If I can add 30-50hp and not lose much torque by doing a cam regrind I would like to do that. I don’t drive it all that much, and I’m not afraid of big Camshafts. Of course I’d like my power brakes to work.
The current cam was ground for a motorhome engine with stock 440source heads. I’d like something that optimizes the combo more.
