You'd need the hydromat pickup pad for sure, otherwise fuel slosh will be an issue.

If it was me, I'd still run a feed/return system with a regulator at the front. If you get some air in a system like this, the check valve isn't that great, car sits for a long time, any restriction of any kind (including running a fuel filter) and you can have a whole lot of issues. A feed/return system, maybe you have to flip the key on and off a few times.
