I have a 5" tall Glasstek cowl hood on my '70 cuda. It is a very nice quality bolt on hood...been on the car since 2003. I haven't weighed it, but I'd say it might save 25 lbs. from the stock dual scoop hood. Just a guess.
It is definitely no lightweight piece. Used to have a piece of crap MAS lift off 6 pack hood on the car and it was WAYYYY lighter. Like I said though, it was a flimsy piece of crap.
