I remember hearing when I first started racing NHRA in 1972/73 that their max height difference for a NHRA sanction 1/4 mile track was + or- 6.0 ft. back then
I know I like racing at Las Vegas a lot better due to the uphill shut off area than at Bremerton, WA where it is a bunch downhill after the finish line I don't think I could see the finish line at the starting line there
Pomona probably has a 48 to 56 inch difference downhill from the starting line to the finish line
