As I've said before, the Hooker fenderwell headers were a big hit... they hit the tires. They hit the ground. They hit the steering. Etc. whistling
Not to mention roasting my (and any passenger's) feet due to the position right behind there.
For a drag-only car that you don't mind cutting up, I could see it, but OP wanted street-strip. shruggy

Tri-Y's are good up to 450(?) hp. They'd be a good but somewhat limiting choice, depending on his plans for improvements later.
