I need some header advice. I sold my Magnum Force front suspension and bought a new HDK kit with power steering,
Well now my beautiful 2" custom made stainless headers with merge collectors don't fit. I had concerns that the oil pan would need modified but it fit perfect, never dreamed the headers would hit the lower control arms on the HDK.

'70 Challenger, HDK k-member and coilovers, and Indy Legend 426-1 heads, rack and pinion power steering, manual disc brakes and Tremec 5-speed. What headers would you guys recommend? This is a street only car. I have a mini starter and I prefer it to not be trapped. With my current headers it can drop right out the bottom.

My fabricator friend that built my stainless headers recommended buying new headers vs cutting mine apart and rebuilding 4 tubes.

Do the Legend heads require different headers than regular Hemi heads? I noticed TTI lists the Legend headers separately.

The arrows show the tube that is right where the lower control arms need to go.
