Car 1 has an older single-stage acrylic enamel GB5 repaint that I'd like to do some cosmetic work on. Car 2 is a 2002 with factory 2-stage paint (urethane?), but I am going to take on some isolated rust issues and hope to get a "reasonably close" match after the repairs.

I found the local paint supply shop advertises custom blended & filled aerosol paint cans, and am interested in whether that "should" be a better option than the Preval approach.
