I would start with between 1/3 to 1/2 turn out from gently bottomed out, set the center carb idle mixture screws 1 1/2 turns out from gently bottom in all the way wrench
The end carb closet to the fire wall is the worst one to set properly, take your time and reset the center carb up last after your happy with idle speed and mixture adjustments with the other two scope


Of all the carbs I have restored,I have found that the amount of turns differs depending on application.If the plugs are still intact I know they haven't been messed with.I usually always seat them counting the turns.I have found anywhere from 1/8 to 3/4 on small block and as much as 2 on a big block especially on A12 cars,however none are consistent by application.
