And your point is?
if you are going to invest 5-12k into a new engine spend the money for every bit of insurance.
Demon also doesn't have ARP mains or Rod bolts......are you going to tell me just because that 8XX hp engine doesn't use them you won't?
Demon blows up ...you go back to the dealer for warranty.

Hudsonshornet's engine takes a crap because the mains walked or he decided to go with stock rod bolts because the Demon uses them? .....where is he going to go for warranty ?

The factory would be upgrading if it was a concern because they don't want to replace engines because of those caps, "if they were a problem". I just think they are pointless under 800 HP. I am all for upgrading weak links, I just don't see them being a weak link. The things that were weak links on engines of past (aluminum mains on BB anybody) tend to be though of as weak links on modern engines even though the factory adressed them and they are no longer an issue, same as how we no longer need aftermarket ported heads for 600HP engines. If you start going over 800 HP then maybe upgrade the caps butt honestly I have never heard of a main cap breaking on one of these at any level and plenty of people are adding boost and nitrous to these things without opening the motor.
