Another newbie question here..

Looking at picking up this used trans. supposed to be a small block 727. Kinda looking to upgrade the 904 behind my 318 for a while, its starting to slip.

Is it a 727 for a small block? What should I check out before i pay for it. supposedly rebuilt 4 years ago and has been sitting on garage floor as shown since then.

How can I tell what year its from and if it will work behind my 318? in my 69 Plymouth B-Body..
