If you have a 70-74 CUDA rallye hood there should be two holes on each side already for the nameplate.
Those two holes are used for each nameplate end stud on all steel hoods with all the different engine callouts.
The Hemicuda nameplate has the same distance as all steel hood nameplates from end stud to end stud, with the exception that it has an extra stud in the center as do the cuda 440, 440-6, 383, 340 shaker nameplates, plus studs are longer.
I have the measurements somewhere, will try to dig up.

And ....no Cuda shaker emblems are tapered in thickness...thats a Dodge thing.
