Ever since I swapped my roadster over to Mopar power years ago the starter has caused occasional trouble.

I've tried at least 5 different stock style ones. Most work for awhile but eventually will start the click, click, click, click game before they finally engage on HOT days when lapping.

A couple of them never would engage the flexplate but worked on my other cars.

The car has an engine and midplate so it should be grounded plenty (tried adding another ground but it didnt make a difference).

Just curious if there is a better starter out there or maybe I'm missing something. Maybe the MSD or Powermaster?

The roadster has a 383 and a glide which has proven to be a fairly consistent combo.

Thank You!!!
