I broke the input shaft and front bearing retainer off due to a bad vibration from the driveshaft, that was a long time ago when parts where a lot cheaper.
If I was you I would take the side cover off and look at the insides real hard to see if there is any other damage and how bad the syncho rings and the little tiny engagement teeth on each gear are before deciding on to buy it or not scope
If the little teeth on the syncro rings or gears are damaged, not sharp, it will not shift good into those gears work shruggy
You need to make sure which version this tranny is before ordering parts also, 23 spline or 18 spline and which year it is so you get the correct input shaft and retainer scope
