the brake lights working tells you that it is OK from the connectors behind the drivers kick panel rearward to the rear dual filament bulbs. start by seperating the steering column pull apart connector & ohm the switch. In the neutral stalk position there should be continuity between the white "power in" wire from the brake pedal switch out to the (2) wires (green/brown maybe) for the L/R brake lights which are the same large filaments in the rear 1157 bulbs that are used for the L/R turns signals respectively which is why from the kickpanel harness rearward you are OK. this is what you have during normal brakeing with the stalk in neutral. then see what you get for continuities when you raise the stalk up then down. www.mymopar.com will have diagrams to help you with the colors to sort out the offending left side. & if all good there you can check the continuity between the body half of that harness pull apart connector down to the pull apart connector behind the drivers kick panel.
