The top picture is after I sanded the case and rubbed it out, I may have gone the extra mile. But the car was in ISCA/WOW type shows for years.
I figured it was way better to cut the top off and be able to sit a battery inside over doing as others did and cutting the bottom open.
If you look you can see doing it this way cut the plates loose so I could set the top aside and then gut the whole bottom.
As far as the Plates themselves after out was able to clean the extra plastic out clean on the sides that held the plates in place. To have a nice clean inside
