Been a LONG TIME since I posted anything here. Been doing lot of muscle car stuff so I totally neglected my 41' Plymouth coupe in the back lot. Recently with my other projects getting closer to the finishing stages (one is out of paint and ready for drivetrain install) I recently scored an early morning craig's list score from a guy who was selling a 4dr 41' Plymouth sedan. So for the price of $300 & a tow, I had a donor car ready to plunder. When it arrived, it had plenty of goodies and had been toying with the idea to build a ratrod from all the left over parts since one of my buddies offered a 1940' Plymouth business coupe body for cheaper than any around my area.

So I know on 41' cars that pretty much everything from the firewall forward is the same and the rearend, rear bumper, dash and gas tank is the same as well. My question is, are the frames from two door coupe, 2 dr sedan, 4 dr sedan the same? How about doors, rear fenders from 2dr/4dr models? Will anything work like the frame and front clip work on the 1940 coupe, and if not, could I graft part of the cowl or tweak from the 41' parts car to work? My goal is to build the coupe for my dad to enjoy, while maybe having enough left over to get a ratrod for me and the dogs. Here are a few pics, hope someone has some good info to share.
