Yes I did. It was a stuck pressure relief valve.....still not sure why. Same pump cover, pan and pickup that I ran on my previous engine and it was fine on this one the week or two before. I have an oil pressure sensor on my O2 recorder and I couldn't have been more stable the previous weekend.
I put a new oil pump cover on it and buffed/deburred the relief valve and channel/cylinder on the new one. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary in the filter. I checked all the bearings and they looked like when I put them in.....still had some bore gage marks. ( I got lucky!)
