Several years ago, I bought a set of Foose Legend Chrome plated aluminum wheels for my wifes Plum Crazy 70 Cuda. They really looked great and set the car off, but after about 7 months, they started getting ground pepper sized bubbles coming up under the chrome and I mean like a bad rash. I called just about everybody up to, but not including Chip Foose(A'int happenin) and basically got blown off. These wheels have been sitting in storage for several years and I was looking at them the other day and thinking what a waste they were . A $200 dollar wheel is not worth spending much money on but with all the technology around, like wraps, is there something that could be done? Is having them dechromed even an option, and if so, does anyone know what that would run? I don't think you can powder coat over chrome. I just hate to see a fairly new set of wheels get thrown away cause the rash really looks bad.
