The brakes are applying.
They don't lock up, but they sure enough stop the van.
Not going fast enough for a lock-up.
I have to pull the pedal back up by hand.
I'm still not sure how the vacuum canister would apply brakes.
If the vacuum could be applying the brakes, they would pull down with out my input right?
The self adjusters are only supposed to activate when in reverse.
In the wrong side, would they not activate every time the brakes are applied?
The adjusters getting the shoes progressively tighter would pull the shoes away from the cylinder and cause the fluid to fill the void, pulling the pedal down. No? shruggy
1st step is remove the drums. This should give me some kind of clue.
I'll be looking at it again soon, as the weather is starting to comply.
