I have factory power windows in my '70 Cuda. They work okay, but I think it would be better to have manual. Those are some big front windows and not just every motor is up to the task. Aren't the assist springs stiffer for the power windows?

The factory switches are getting harder to find and usually the springs in them are weak which gives the switch a mushy or indistinct feel. I have not had a lot of problems with my power windows, but quite frankly, I am always a little apprehensive when I roll them down that they might not go back up. Has only happened a couple of times, but I have never had a manual fail me.

You might check out some factory set-ups and see if they are up to your standards. I don't think I would recommend power windows overall.
