The factory service manual calls for 45 Ft. Lbs. with oil on the threads on the stock factory rod bolts, no mention of H.D. that I have ever seen or heard of in a FSM shruggy
The mains call for 85 Ft Lbs. with oil, I use a thin lightweight coat on the bolts only, not dripping off tsk
