Something is drawing too much current and tripping the factory circuit breaker. Your description of the wiring is a clue
Step #1 Get someone who is familiar with the cars and electrical portion of them.
Step 2 Start with new harnesses straighten out the ignition system. Lot's of choices there.

Might be a good idea to park it and keep the battery disconnected in the mean time
