I have off the shelf universals on both of my cars one has been on it for over 10,000 miles and I have had no problems. I believe there are a few different mopar specific ones, manual to manual, power to power, and power column to manual box.
You're talking about a Universal joint like the Flaming River Joint, not the stock coupler, correct?
