For the money I'm going to ditch the factory stuff and go with a Holley EFI dash. They are able to work in a stand alone mode. After fighting with four plus cars at a time worth of Mopar gauges for 20+ years has me a little downtrodden from removing the clusters so many times. If it's not a bouncy speedo it's a dead fuel gauge. I've had factory 5v regulators outlast the solid state models that come in the new style circuit boards too. Very irritating as you usually have to drop the steering column to work on it. Don't even get me started on the electroluminescent problems in (especially) my '66 Chargers. The harder the car is driven the more problems I have had. I could be unlucky, that's for sure!
