the hardware store has these thin (5/16?) shafts that are threaded on each end (LH on one end), not sure what they are for, didn't pay attention & from a bent junk pushrod, I cut & JB welded a ball on one end & a threaded shaft with 2 nuts to lock it solid at a particular height into the other. had more range than the tailor made ones (& cheaper) plus the satisfaction of doing it your self.
