I’m completely behind you and agree the process produces outstanding results. I’d have done this if I could have found a local with a cabinet large enough. Even looked into buying a cabinet but found these are wildly expensive vs a traditional blast box.

The only other thing to consider is that before blasting the case the trans needs to be stripped, where cleaning and protecting can be easily accomplished without gutting the trans.
