OK, it’s a 416 w/W5 heads on it now.
I have to ask about the cam duration and gears.

I don’t see a problem running the W5 on the street. Is there something about the head that gives you the willies not to run it? If your in the frame of mind that you have an overkill set of heads on a mild engine, I get that, but, I would say not to sweat it. The excellent head will help carry the smaller cam longer and be a really efficient and effective package.

Without knowing about the rear gear and stall rate, just purely for example, a small lowly hyd. cam like 230*/236*/240* intake duration will work for the street like we all know how it does and the heads will help carry the rpm range further up the rpm scale. The duration is super streetable with great top end with the heads you have on there now.

I really don’t know what to tell ya there buddy. Time for a little soul searching. wink
