You obviously didn’t watch the video or understand how I was trying to save the block after messing it up.

When drilling the #1 I hit the water passage.
By set screwing the main saddle and pushing the gallery plug deeper I would have been
able to use the factory passage to feed the main and rod bearings.
It was drilled to 5/16” successfully.

The crossover tube would have had to be installed to feed the tappets, oil through head to rocker shafts, and supposedly slow the oil flow to #4 to prevent starvation to the rod bearings . (this is subjective in my thinking)

You think this is sketchy?

Well, I’m pondering putting LA heads on a magnum like this. lol
I’ll have to use 3 crossover tubes for this setup.



Here is a book I just dug out with crossover info.



Doing this stuff is fun to me whether it’s required for my application or not.
