I would have preferred the original type grease. Amalie has a #4 grease that seems to be close to what I wanted but I don`t want to pay $45 plus for a small tub of it and not need it again. I really just want something that doesn`t leak and drip oils like some grease does. It is for a transverse torsion bar which seems to use some more grease then the older straight t bars.
Seems like all modern greases have a high bleed out rate (drip, drip, drip) I've yet to find one that doesn't
I have a 30 year old can of Lubriplate 930 that doesn't bleed out as much as most so that's what I use when I'm concerned about dripping. It's not lithium base so I only use where I won't be mixing greases.
You might check with a local industrial bearing supplier for recommendations.
