I put over 1000 miles a year on the car.Underdriven and 4 lbs on the street.On pump gas @6500 RPM THE BOOST IS 5.5....Anything more than c12 is used.I have not seen more than 200* inside the intake manifold and that was after driving back from a cruise spot 15 miles away and going to my test/record road.The blower HAD to be heat soaked and it was 85* that night.
The carbs are kinda blubbery @ 4 lbs and wake right up with a few more lbs so my thought was if W/M does as they claim I would be able to run 6 or 7 lbs with pump gas on the street without worry.I have melted a few pistons!
