first time with auto trans ...B&M pro stick and cable..all gears engage except neutral.
prior to driving the car i went through the procedure of making sure each gear had no cable bind from park to first.
I can manually shift 1-2 and 2-D and get good firm shifts or just go to D and drive without any noticable slipage.
but when on a hill for example shifting to neutral the car seems to hold like its in D. hitting the reverse lockout and just barely nudging toward R and the tranny releases into neutral. there isnt much of a defined detente for neutral just seems to go up against the reverse lock out. Time to re adjust or might this be
another issue?
