When I worked in TV, the news director had a 75 Dodge Monaco that we got to pay off an advertising bill. It got passed down to one of the photographers who discovered that feature. He always drove the car trying to get the light on. He was averaging 9 mpg for his efforts. I always wondered what it would have done if he was trying to keep the light off.
The feature was in the owners manual but who reads those in a fleet setting?
