I pull a 24' enclosed with my 07 2500, 5.9 with a tuner. It's a 4x4. I too looked for a 2WD and couldn't find one so settled for the 4WD. Use to make the run from the NW to SoCal. Pulling the trailer with a 71RR, tools, spare tire etc. I averaged around 13-14.5 MPG. Liv in Mesa now and pulling up to Vegas, SoCal and to the NW the average still is at 13-14.5 average. Mileage on the truck as of yesterday is 252K.
