Did you sonic check yours? My 04 5.7 block has a min thickness of .176 @ 3.93 bore. I wouldn't want to take it to 4.090, but 4.055 would probably be alright to still be over .100 everywhere. Block check @ 3.917 had .207 before bore .120 after Bore in that spot,(middle depth #1) Thinnest spot on that block after bore was #7 non Thrust @.101 middle depth
