The ones I see for sale are all the same size (same length) and as far as I know, they should get narrower (shorter) as they clip on going forward to the front of the door as the belt moulding gets narrower.

Also, I think there is a bolt that gets a nut on the every back of the door / belt moulding.

Am I correct or crazy ?

Any idea where I can find the correct set ?

You are correct - the size of the clip changes based on its location along the door, and the last one (back of the door) has a stud/nut to secure it in place. I think these clips are specific to gen 2 Chargers. When I restored my Charger, I couldn't find them. I ended up buying some damaged belt molding on ebay that had the clips.
