This stuff is challenging for sure but WE will get it figured out but we all have also heard of guys adding 50-100 lbs and going WAY quicker and faster........

Are you saying that the slower 1.40 was also with a different untested carb?
As far as going faster with more weight, of course its because its a band aid suspension fix. Some need to move weight to the Front to fix a power problem vs to the rear because of a suspension problem.
So you got to run your car just recently, great for you, 5* up here.
