If it hasn't been run yet, or tested to see what the converter flashes to, then the "3400 stall" really means nothing.

That being said its probably going to want more like 4500-5000 flash stall.

The old Torker definitely leaves some power on the table.

There are a couple of Holley SD intakes for sale in the Moparts Engines section, I think an M1 single plane too.
Either of those will be an improvement in power.

However, if you really only have something like 3400 flash stall now, and you don't plan on changing it, keep the original Torker..... They have better bottom end than either the SD or M1.

The cam seems okay to me.
I'd start out at the recommended lash first, then you can try tightening it up a little at a time if it seems like the motor is responding favorably to it.
