I'd suggest a tall deck R3 (or Ritter if brave) for sure to keep the R/S angle decent. Your stroking it, so your RPM will be limited, so 59* is fine. Yes, roller lifters work fine in these with a little clearance work. The new Eddy Victor heads would top it off nicely. Pedestal and shaft rockers are available for these from Crower, T&D, etc.
