What year? Check TSBs. Early ones had an issue with the MAP hose collecting water(moisture) causing problems. The fix was relocating the MAP. MAP sensors sense engine vacuum/engine load (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Anything that effects vacuum will freak MAP sensors out and possibly set codes.

A decent description of the year/make/model along with accurate code number/description along with any drive ability issues will help us help you.

My 3.0 eats these like candy isn't the most accurate problem description I've ever had(doubtful you've had 10 bad ones) and I've turned wrenches for over 30 yrs.
