I have not tried to do what the OP wants, but I'm thinking it's similar to what I've done on my hemi. Using an Indy valley tray and Indy intake on regular MP heads. The heads don't overlap onto the valley cover like the Indy heads do, it just leaves a slight gap in the V groove where they meet. Fill the gap w/ a bead of silicone, then you can set the intake gaskets on w/ the intake.
Some people may not like the amount of silicone needed, but it does work.
