My smart ass comment aside, I never did get a method down that was 100% fool proof when I still had the 360. My dad ended up using a relocation kit on his 408. If you like changing oil on a warm motor, then this is it. The photo is of the wrong angle, but you can still see it. He mounted the filter on the passenger side up front. Honestly, if you leave the filter where it is at it's only a matter of time until you get oil on your shiny new headers.
