Pro Mod for next year is getting an extra qualifying session at each race. Plus they'll be getting an extra two races to compete at. But Pro Mod isn't going to save anything. They're neat cars but the stands still empty when they come up. Plus they're going to have to improve their racing. People won't sit and watch 30 cars and only 6/8 make it down the track. They'll get more pressure to improve as more "light" is put on them. And with more races comes the need for more $$$, which will start seperating the class even more.

I remember watching pro stock in the 90's when they always had near 30cars. Guess what, it wasn't enjoyable. You had cars off by 3-4tenths and only a handful that were normally going to win. It's unfortunate the routinely get right around 16-18, but the competition is much better.
