Find a good 18" fixed 7 blade (not flex) ,you'll be much better off.
We haven't even figured he has a problem, much less what to do about it.
Spend nothing till you know what's going on, if anything.
I think a "bad" 18" 10 blade flex fan with no pitch angle will do the trick. One worked really well on my liquid cooled lawn tractor

Didn't work so well for me,blade came off and went through the hood of my JD !!

LOL thanks for understanding, BTW using the above 18" 10 blade fan I experienced the SAME thing. I took the hood off, pulled the motor and it hasn't overheated since. I'm telling you that
"bad" 18" 10 blade flex fan with no pitch angle solved the problem and the wife loves her new planter
