I think you are spot on. There is just no substitute for experience. I would venture to guess that your tunnel ram suggestion some time ago would have been a better move, and combine it with an offset crank grind to pick up 29 cubes (4.4 stroke vs 4.15) might have been a better move, plus some effort to lighten this tank up. At my age and being retired, this is what I have, so I will enjoy it as is, unless someone has a tunnel ram for sale dirt cheap whistling
