Sorry about the confusion! I was interested in air bag info on the full size trucks.
I read on another website that the air bag was introduced in 1994, just like Guitar Jones mentioned. It seems like I saw a drivers side air bag in a late square body rams. 1992 or 1993 perhaps???? Is my memory just incorrect? Was the air bag available as an option before 1994? No, air bags are not and never were an option. No full size truck got an air bag until the redesign in 94. Now could you put the newer column and or steering wheel in the 93 and prior? Yeah you can but there is way too much stuff to actually make the air bag functional.
