Any one running valve covers like these on a big block with eddie rpm heads? Any tricks to making them work? The long bolts bind in the cover and I cant seem to get them don all the way.
https://m.summitracing.com/parts/MRG-6865BG I had a similar problem with a set of cast Edelbrock valve covers, #1 the holes weren't quite on the mark with the heads and #2 the Allen bolts were way to tight in the bores, get a ream slightly larger than the bolts diameter, not a drill bit and open up the bolt bores in the cover, be sure to check how much meat you have in the covers before boring them open
