I'm sure that either a 1" open or 1" tapered spacer would have made more power, however you could also say that for the Ritter intake (from experience).

So apples to apples with no spacer...once you go higher on the Arrow intake, you are not going to fit it under a hood with a small scoop...kinda pointless as the Ritter will make more power if you can find a way to package the engine/hood.
