I went on Saturday. Coaxed my 17 yr old daughter to come along by letting her drive my truck. It was her first time driving a couple of exits on the Turnpike. And she likes the smell of burning race gas

It was hot but I had a good time walking around and looking at what people are running. And I got the 2017 version of the T-Shirt to replace my old one. We decided to leave later in the afternoon after that one guy broke a oil line and almost hit the starter's booth. That all happened pretty quick and we were lucky that nobody got hurt. I figured it would take some time to clean up the oil from burnout area and starting line and we didn't plan to stay for the pizza party so we headed home.
